Gerry Davis is a painter from Tipperary but based in Wickham St Studios, Limerick. His work is a mixture of real and imaginary compositions and is sometimes autobiographical in some way. In 2016 he won the Hennessy Portrait Prize and a merit award at The Golden Fleece Award. He has also had solo shows at TACTIC, Pallas Projects and The Source Art Centre. His work is in collections at University of Limerick, The Hunt Museum and the National Gallery of Ireland.
